Troop 111
Welcome!
Troop 111 was founded in May of 2019 in Middletown, DE after the BSA officially transitioned to allow females between the ages of 11 and 17 to join their organization as BSA Scouts. At that time, they also officially transitioned their name from Boy Scouts of America to Scouts BSA.
The Troop was founded by dedicated adults who saw the benefits and opportunities that the BSA could offer young women. There were 5 Scouts in Troop 111 when we were officially Chartered in 2019. Among those Scouts, Troop 111 is proud to say we have the first female Eagle Scout in Iron Hill District.
Since our Charter in 2019, we have grown to 16 Scouts and can proudly say we have two Eagle Scouts, with several others on their way.
Troop 111 meets Thursday nights from 6:30pm-8pm at Church on Main.
Troop 111 meets in the activity room, which is located in the back of church. Use the entrance with the handicap ramp to enter.
